Our second UK trip of 2017 was to join in the celebration of Sam & Abby’s wedding with Amelie safely tucked up into Cow Bay Marina, Prince Rupert.

We’d rented a house in Exeter from our former next door neighbours, Tony & Cathy, which sat in the garden looking at our old home felt very different from just being in a serviced apartment.

Clive and Ju came to stay and Peter & Wendy visited for a re-run of our Panama Canal transit crew with the added pleasure of Jasmine staying as well.

We had a very hectic stay catching up in Exeter with family and friends rounded off by Sam & Abby’s magnificent wedding day.  No effort had been spare with more flowers than we remembered at Covent Garden and Sam & Abby looking radiant for their special day.

We only missed Sam & Abby by 15 minutes at Heathrow Airport as they prepared for their honeymoon flight to Bali and we for our return trip to Amelie.

We were looking forward to preparing ourselves for the sail south to sunny California.
